Accountant at PTS

As an accountant at PTS, you will play a central role in ensuring stable and accurate financial management in an authority with an important societal mission. Here, you combine qualified accounting with development work in a forward-looking organization.

We work with what everyone takes for granted. The ability to communicate. With us, you ensure that it works now and in the future. For everyone.

The accounting unit is one of four units within the finance department and consists of eight dedicated and helpful colleagues. We are responsible not only for accounting and financial statements but also for customer invoicing, supplier invoices, fee management, and administration. We also work on managing and developing PTS's business system UBW Unit4. Our mission involves supporting the authority's managers and employees while ensuring that the organization follows the right routines and guidelines in a simple and efficient manner.

“My name is Tina Hallin, and I will be your manager. For me, good collaboration is the foundation of success. By sharing knowledge and working towards common goals, we achieve better results and more enjoyable workdays. I am an approachable manager who values clear structures and an inclusive work environment where we support each other and grow together.”

About the Role

As an accountant, you will work broadly with both internal and external accounting in a multi-financed environment. You will handle financial statements, annual reports, and reporting to Hermes, including responsibility for items such as outcomes, special S-codes, and notes.

An important part of the role is to participate in our change work, where you will contribute to developing and improving our routines and processes, for example, during the implementation of liquidity forecasts or in the work with our accounting and OH model. You will work with flow reconciliations, collections, transfers, as well as the calculation and booking of OH distributions and calculation differences. You will also be responsible for financing analyses and the preparation of liquidity forecasts. Additionally, you will serve as a support to the organization in accounting matters and participate in various projects where your expertise is needed.

You will work both independently and closely with colleagues and have ongoing contact with, for example, the National Audit Office during audits. With us, you are encouraged to question, think innovatively, and find smarter ways of working. This is an ambition we hope you share!

About the Team

The accounting unit consists of experienced employees with good cohesion, where team members support and help each other as needed.
